The client wanted to research US stocks in one place: financial statements, prices and news in its own database, with its chosen financial ratios calculated and stocks searchable by the numbers.
What I built
- A recommended data source for statements, prices and news
- A system that collects and stores the data and keeps it up to date
- Analysis models that calculate the financial ratios the client specified
- A web interface to enter a stock symbol and read the analysis
- Screening and search across stocks, based on the data
