The problem
The client already had a TradingView indicator that gave buy and sell signals, and wanted each signal to show its risk and targets, a quick read of the oscillators and moving averages, and a way to test it.
What I built
- A risk-reward plot for every buy and sell signal
- TP1, TP2 and TP3 lines based on ATR, with the ATR length as an input
- Status triangles at the top of the chart for RSI, Stochastic, MACD and the 55, 100 and 200 moving averages, on a timeframe selected from 1 minute to daily
- Alerts added to the existing indicator
- A conversion into a strategy tester with its own settings
- HMA in the entry condition, and a table with the precision of the last 10 trades
- Breakout signals, plus a cleanup of the code
