What I build, and how the work runs.
Four services, one process. Every engagement starts with a free review of your idea or your existing script, and ends with the source code in your hands.
Indicator/Strategy Tester Script Development
Documented scripts that behave the way your rules describe, with alerts that reach your broker or your phone.
Indicator vendors and trading businesses that need new products and versioned updates, systematic traders who need logic they can validate, and traders who execute away from TradingView or need alerts on a phone.
Starting from$500
Ask about a script →What is included
- Custom indicators built from scratch or from your trading idea
- Strategy Tester scripts for rule-based systems
- Alert and webhook integration: PineConnector, TradeAdapter, JSON or text webhooks, Telegram, phone and email
- Non-repainting logic, including multi-timeframe (MTF / HTF / LTF) evaluation
- Market structure, price action and pattern recognition tools
- Backtests you can audit: date-range limits, controlled entries, and risk rules and assumptions visible, not a polished curve
- Risk management built in: TP/SL, break-even, trailing stop, position sizing, pyramiding and multi-state logic
- Per-symbol sizing and partial closes (TP1/TP2) on automated orders
- Custom alert conditions and dashboards
- Improve or optimize an existing script you already own
Indicator Suite
A full set of indicators and strategy testers built around your trading style.
Traders who already run a channel or community and have a trading style of their own, and want indicators that match it.
Starting from$2,500
Ask about an indicator suite →What is included
- 5 to 7 indicator or strategy tester scripts
- Built around the trading style you already use
- Best suited if you already run a channel or community
- Custom alert conditions and dashboards
- Commented code, with documentation of what was built
Example projects
Script conversion from other platforms to Pine Script
A script from another platform, rebuilt in Pine Script to run on TradingView.
Traders moving a working indicator or strategy to TradingView from another platform.
Starting from$500
Ask about a conversion →What is included
- Indicators and strategies converted from MT4/MT5, thinkorswim, Tradovate or NinjaTrader
- Non-repainting logic, including multi-timeframe (MTF / HTF / LTF) evaluation
- Commented code, with documentation of what was built
- The other direction too: Pine Script ported to Python, with values that match the Pine version
Example projects
Script fixes, update, enhancement, and takeover
A script that works again, even when another developer left it half-finished.
Traders with a broken script, a purchased indicator that stopped working, or a project another developer dropped.
Pricing on request
Ask about script fixes →What is included
- Bug fixes and broken-script diagnosis (one same-day fix in the record: ~2 hours)
- Refactoring and optimization of existing code
- Feature additions on top of a working script
- Taking over half-finished projects from previous developers
- Commented code that is easy to pick up later

Engagements
How the work is structured.
Scope and price
- Fixed price or milestones for a defined scope
- 50% up front, and the rest on delivery
- Hourly for open-ended work
- Paid through Upwork, or directly by ACH bank transfer or on the Solana network
Typical timelines
- Small indicator or alert fix
- same day – 2 days
- Full indicator from an idea or spec
- 1 – 3 days
- Strategy with risk management
- several days – 2 weeks
- Large modular system, built in sprints
- multi-week, milestone-based
Ownership & revisions
- The source code becomes yours on delivery.
- Confidential by default, with an NDA if you want one.
- A demo comes before the final version, so issues surface early.
- Unlimited revisions during the build to match the agreed scope.
What to expect
- A free review before every project: send the idea, the existing script or the spec, and I will suggest a way to build it. No obligation.
- Commented code, with documentation of what was built.
- Plain feedback, including when a spec is unlikely to hold up in a live market.
How it runs
Four steps, drawn as an axis.
You know the scope, the price and where things stand before the work starts.
- 01
Scope Review and Quotation
You send the idea, a spec, a video, or a half-finished script. I review it for free, tell you what is realistic, and send a quote and timeline. No obligation.
- 02
Upfront Payment
50% of the quote is paid up front, once the scope and the details are agreed.
- 03
Build, Test, and Demos
You get working demos to check against your rules, with unlimited revisions to match the agreed scope.
- 04
Final Payment and Delivery
The remaining 50% is paid on delivery. You get the source code, full documentation, and 2 months of support.
Questions
Everything people ask before starting.
Will my indicator repaint?
Non-repainting logic is a default, not an extra. Signal and indicator logic is built so historical values do not change after the bar closes, and multi-timeframe (MTF / HTF / LTF) evaluation is written to avoid future-bar leakage. If a request genuinely requires different behavior, I tell you before I build it.
Do I own the code, and can you sign an NDA?
The source code becomes yours on delivery. That is written into the engagement rather than left to assumption. Confidentiality is standard, and an NDA can be arranged on request. Comments and documentation are part of the handover, so the script stays maintainable after I am gone.
Which platforms do you work with?
TradingView and Pine Script (v5 and v6) are the core. Around them: PineConnector alert integration, TradeAdapter (tradeadapter.com), Telegram and phone/email alerts, JSON and text webhooks, and Python for porting indicators out of TradingView.
How does pricing work?
Fixed price for a defined scope, or hourly for open-ended work. Either way the scope and the deliverables are agreed before the build starts, so the number does not move mid-project. Projects start from $500, and a firm quote follows the free review of your idea.
Can you take over a script another developer left half-finished?
Yes. Clients have hired me to continue projects that a previous developer dropped mid-build, to repair scripts they bought from elsewhere, and to fix indicators that stopped working after a platform update. I will review what exists first and tell you whether it is worth finishing or worth rewriting.
Can you build multi-timeframe logic?
Yes. Trend state, Supertrend, VStop and similar conditions are evaluated across up to eight timeframes inside a single script, with the resulting state exposed through inputs and webhook messages. This is the pattern I use when a client is running the same setup across many assets.
How do alerts and webhooks work in your builds?
Custom alert conditions call alert() with configurable payloads, then hand off to webhooks, PineConnector, Telegram, phone or email. Where an order has to be executed, sizing, TP1/TP2 partial closes, automatic break-even and trailing stops are all part of the strategy script rather than bolted on afterwards.
Will the backtest be realistic?
I build the Strategy Tester script with the risk rules inside it (TP/SL, break-even, trailing stop, position sizing, pyramiding, multi-state logic and date-range limits), so the test reflects the rules you actually trade. I do not promise profitable results, and I will not tune a script until the curve looks pretty.
How long does a build take?
It depends on scope, and I would rather quote a range than a guess. One broken-script fix was done the same day. A full indicator from a one-page spec usually takes one to three days. A strategy with risk management takes several days to a couple of weeks, and large modular systems are built in sprints over several weeks. Every engagement starts with a fixed quote against an agreed scope.
What happens after delivery?
You get the source code, full documentation, and 2 months of support.
Next step
Have an idea, or a script that needs work?
Send your idea, a specification document, a brief video or an unfinished script. I'll review it and send you a quote and timeline, free and with no obligation.
