The problem
The trader worked through candle pattern ideas one after another and needed each one as working code, with alerts for live use and a strategy tester to check it against history. Many ideas shared the same building blocks, so new conditions had to fit into what already existed.
What I built
- Candle pattern indicators for engulfing, hammer, inverted hammer, hanging man and shooting star setups, with TP, SL and trailing options
- Renko long and short alerts, and Heikin Ashi long and short signals with an optional stop loss
- Indicators based on MACD, Ichimoku, DMI, VSA and volume candles
- Gap indicators and candle-relation alerts
- Pattern strategy testers with more than 40 conditions
- Fibonacci wick checks on a 1-hour Bitcoin chart
